Exploring the wilds had long been one of their favorite shared interests, and this one seemed much like the others, except that they were quickly outgrowing their childhoods. It was Nerdanel's idea to explore the far side of the woods, and she emerged into a nice clearing, the light of the Trees filtering down through the leaves.
